Context

At Neurones IT, I led the multi-cloud Containerization & Orchestration squad. Creating a production-ready Kubernetes cluster was still expert work — and different work on every cloud, for every distribution.

Challenge

Industrialize cluster creation and management across four clouds and several distributions (Vanilla, K3S, RKE/RKE2, OpenShift), in a multi-tenant model — without sacrificing ease of use.

Solution

  1. Platform design and end-to-end technical leadership, from the multi-tenant model to the interface.

  2. Go microservices backend orchestrating the full cluster lifecycle.

  3. Infrastructure as Code provisioning with Pulumi, node configuration with Ansible.

  4. Support for the Vanilla Kubernetes, K3S, RKE/RKE2, and OpenShift distributions, on AWS, GCP, Azure, and OVH.

  5. Next.js frontend: self-service cluster creation, tracking, and management.
